Why Alexandria Relays

I relay because my mom has dealt with lumps in her breast and has had multiple surgeries in order to remove them. I also relay for people that have had to experience any form of cancer scare, because a couple of months ago I found a lump in my breast and I had to go through an ultrasound and biopsy process. This was really scary for me to go through and I brushed it off because I didn’t want anyone to see me differently. However this experience was serious and I believe that having someone to support you is important.
